A single point-of-contact approach to plan design

In order to deliver our clients with the most streamlined service possible, Check Engineering takes a single point-of-contact approach when engaging with clients during the plan design process. This mean that when you start a new project with us, your project manager will also be your project engineer, directly responsible for communicating with you and then drafting and designing the plans to bring your ideas to life.  This eliminates back-and-forth communication internally, reduces billable hours for our clients, and ultimately allows us to deliver projects in a more timely, cost effective manager.

Your single point-of-contact will be a knowledgeable expert on roadway design, bringing innovative, thoughtful design ideas from personal experience as well as from best practices and standards, including the:

• California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD)

• NACTO design guides (Urban Street Design Guide, Urban Bikeway Design Guide, etc.)

• FHWA Interim Approvals (IA)

• Caltrans design standards (Design Information Bulletins, Highway Design Manual, etc.)
